Review: Customer service is poor, wait times for parts is long, wait time for service is ungodly long. They do not seem to care to sell motorcycles, so your lucky if you get help while looking at them.

I went in to ask for a rim protected, or rim saver which is used to remove dirtbike tires from the rim without scratching the rim all up. Girl at the parts counter looked at me and said "I have no idea what that is", and I I had to ask her, "well is there someone that would know". Seems to the way of Apex, I guess they rather not make the sale.

I was also told by a guy I was changing his tires for that he bought a battery there after being told it was the right one for his bike. Turned out it was not, and he took it right back, they told him "sorry all sales are final on batteries, maybe you should try to return it to Rocky Mountain Cycle Plaza". All he wanted was the right battery for the bike and as it was their mistake they should of took it back. However each person I meet tells me how much they hate Apex Motorsports so watch out if you go there.

I try and stay away from them or just pickup small stuff like headlight bulbs and chain lube and stuff like that, I would not ever buy something of value from them, thank God for the Internet.

Dealer Carries This is a small service shop that can order parts, and carries a small selection of items.

Review: Dave mainly works on Dirt Bikes but can work on all types of motorcycles. He is very friendly and riders a Ducati, he seems to know his shit, and I'm not saying that for the FREE BBQ on Saturday mornings, although it is good. Nice to see a small guy be so customer focused. I'm very impressed with what I have seen so far, and would be more then willing to give him my business, even for things like parts because I rather support him then places like Apex.

Review: Nice layout, friendly sales staff, free food on Saturdays, Rentals, and Test Rides. However with them selling more of the exotic brands that means a simple headlight bulb is $30. So you might wantt o shop at places like "Performance Cycle" if you are up in Denver for your parts.

What you get to learn after some research is that their service department is pretty lacking. My brother in-law took his Speed Triple to them, and each time they did not lock down the passanger seat. Then he scheduled his 12,000 mile maintenace for a Friday. I was right there when the service manager said, bring the bike in, in two weeks on Friday and we will hook you up with a loaner Triumph 675 and pick the bike up late Saturday. So in two weeks we run up there like planned and come to find out the idiot service manager put him down for Thursday. Some much for "Its as good as in the books" as the fat bastard was stuffing his face with pizza. The service manager would not do anything after we rode up from Colorado Springs in rush hour traffic to get the bike there. He said come back in THREE more weeks. To that we walked away. Seeing as they were the ones to screw up they should work the bike into their schedule. In the end my brother in-law did his own servicing and now offers to do others as he has the "Tune Boy", and the knowledge to work on engines. Like most people he was just being lazy as he works long hours.

Come to find out Erico has a servicing problem anyhow, and the idle problem the brother in-law was having (reason for first two visits) he fixed it in a matter of minutes after buying a "Tune Boy" to reprogram the ECU. Others Problems at Erico

codfish124: "not happy at all. i bought a used bike from them every one in the shop told me it was a great runner. so after my 3rd day there and finely getting all the paper work done i headed out with my new bike 2 sec later they closed. the bike was jerky thought maybe it had sat for a wile and the chain was sticky then the bike stalled out hmmmm that's weird. well there closed cant do any thing tonight. went back the next day with a soar back from being jerked a round on the bike. well the chain is bad they said i said OK fix it they said no that's not covered with the warn-tee its a wearable item i said OK but it woren so bad every one in your service department should be fired i paid your 575 dealer and handling and the carbs a not synced it stalling out the clutch is in need of adjustment long story short they fixed the chain and left me with the rest as a barter deal"

codfish124: "the only good person was Ron the finance guy the GM i talked to was the guy that finally said well fix the chain but were not going to fix the carbs its one or the other. i was also complaining about the clutch needing to be bled when i got the bike back after they replaced the chain the tech told me that they shouldn't charge me for the chain because they missed it when they went through it. when i went to fill the bike up next time i saw clutch fluid on the faring and the cap wasn't tiend also the little thing that held the cap on was gone."

fook: "I had horrendously bad issues with Erico years ago and haven't stepped foot in there since. I will agree John is extremely service oriented but the quality of techs they *used* to staff left a little to be... desired and John and Trip, while promising me up one side and down the other that they would take care of a huge mistake the service dept. made ended up costing me months of effort on my part, chasing them down to make good."

JarSTriple: "Chris is a sales guy down there. He's the only one who was actually cool and helpful when I was testing out the Triples. Parts and Service were a whole different story. On the phone and in person, both departments had rude people. I called to check stock on a part and got hung up on. Then I had to inform another parts guy that he had my part in stock before he made me wait for it to be shipped from the factory. Then when I tried to get the part I picked up taken care of in service, the guy at the counter told me I had to talk to someone else and then he proceeded to take phone call after phone call without going to get that "someone else" for me."

Dealer Carries: Various Parts like Tires, Brake Pads, Helmets, Jackets, Pants, Boots. Overall a friendly place, with Internet like pricing.

Review: This is not a dealer really, more of a Motorcycle Accessory shop. I recommend them for things you need right away but don't want to mess with the long lines at the dealerships or the idiots that don't seem to know one part over another. Plenty to choice from.
